People For Animals Shelter
During my internship at People for Animals Shelter, Bangalore (April–May 2024), I coordinated and responded to over 20 kite rescue calls and assisted veterinarians in animal transport. I built an enclosure for two injured jackals by designing a natural habitat with a pond, saplings, and rock dens, while also preparing feed for over 60 animals across seven species. Additionally, I conducted public awareness sessions on safe Animal–Human Interactions, developed a digital log for rescued wildlife, and initiated an enrichment program using recycled materials to improve animal well-being.
